Ventana’s Due Amici (Italian for Two Friends) this unique blend takes advantage of the ripe black fruits of the Tempranillo grape and marries to the more structured and tannic Cabernet Sauvignon. The result is a well balanced wine that will compliment hearty foods or as a sipping wine.

Arroyo Seco is the coolest growing region during the growing season. Tempranillo is the great grape of Spain and it grows very well in the temperate zones of Monterey.
Both varietals were fermented in 5 ton open top fermentors and punched down three times a day. After gentle pressing the wine was pumped in to barrels for 14 months of barrel aging.
